    Hi,

The first time I turn on my Acer Aspire 5532 I entered the BIOS setup and set
the HDD password for security. I have not lost the password but somehow I can not change it either. The HDD change password option is greyed out. Is there a way this option could be enabled again? I have not supervisor or user password set.

    TIA for your help

    Pablo

Sorry we cannot help you to bypass a notebooks security measure, for all we know you could have stolen it.

Hmm, I think you have to set the supervisor and user password before they'll allow you to change the HDD password.
