Hey all, new to this particular forum, but need some help.

My Mom has a Acer desktop that I recently tried to reformat for her. The problem is my Stepdad is a, to put it nicely, stoner. He somehow changed the bios password and cannot remember what it is, shocking. There is a hint of "grand" if I try to do the eRecovery console, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out.

I saw some stuff about an Ubuntu cd, and trying to boot to it, which I tried. The problem is I can't even change the boot order or boot to a CD without the password. Any and all help is appreciated.
