Ok so I have an Acer Aspire 8930g with Windows 7 x64 and it's been working perfectly fine. Today I had it in my room when I was showering, and it died when I got back out. I plugged it in and restarted it and it had the "Starting windows" thing, and afterwords the screen went blank, than it turned on (the light) and I had my cursor. Nothing after. I tried again, leaving it on for several hours, and again- nothing.

Is there something I did? Idk. It wont load in safe mode either, so idk.

Sounds like corruption in the system files. Put the Windows CD into the disc drive, and choose the repair installation. :)

    Kind Regards powerfull499

I can't even boot from disk... and the windows 7 disk I have, you need to install another disk first (was the upgrade from acer). :| I have the disk in, but it starts as the acer screen (you can only press f2 to go to setup .etc) and than the "unexpected shutdown, run in safe, safe w/command, safe w/network, run regular" .etc, than loads starting, than black.

    I realllllllllly need this fixed...
