When I start up my laptop, after a few seconds the screen would blink a couple of times as if it is loading, not sure why it does it. Has anyone run into this issue? I'm not sure if it has to do with the display settings that I changed when I hooked up my s-video to my television or what.

I own an Acer Extensa 5620-6830.

Any information would be helpful, thank you for your time.

    Try disabling TMM.

    Top Vista tweaks

Here is the thread that specifically talks about the flickering/blinking
