I recently bought an Acer Timeline X 4830T-6678 and I also bought a RAM chip to upgrade the RAM to 8 gb.

I opened the case and installed a 4 GB Chip (DDR3 PC3-10666) and I ended up a getting a blue screen of death.

I uninstalled the chip and the computer works fine. I'm not really a laptop pro, so I don't know what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
