    Hi Everyone

I can watch blue ray on my 8930g with no probs using latest version of arcade deluxe. But when i connect it to a Samsung LCD tv via HDMI it says the display driver is incompatible despite the fact that the desktop show on the tv fine as does any other app.

    Any ideas?

    cheers

Hi, you'll need to turn off the laptop screen when watching blu-ray on a TV due to licencing regs. 'Fn' & 'F5' are the keys to use...

Thanks for the info got picture working now could also have been a HCDP issue. However i now have picture but no sound which is just as annoying. The normal windows sound works on the tv and audio amp but nothing from the blue ray. Any ideas?

    cheers

Hi, right click on the speaker and left click on playback devices, ensure that digital audio (HDMI) is selected..

Hi Chriscatt, i will check this out but i think it is set like this as the normal windows sounds play through the tv, it is just the output form the blue ray disc.

    cheers

You have to set the sound to HDMI in the software as well. I use PowerDVD and under the Audio you have to select speaker enviornment to HDMI and this selection is only visible when your HDMI is connected to TV.
