    Hi

I have a 5920, sometimes when the laptop comes out of standby the screen is blue with a message about "seeing this screen to prevent damage to the compter" then Mentions the Nvidia driver. I have reinstalled the Nvidia drivers from the Acer website but still does it.

    Help please..

On a guess, it sounds like a screen saver problem. Do you have a 3d screen saver running? Try switching it to just "black" or "nothing" for screen saver. Also, try the nVidia drivers from nvidia.com instead of Acer.

If those don't work, less likely culprits could be the BIOS needs flashing, or re-installing any software that came pre-installed with the Acer. In fact, maybe UN-installing that stuff would help you.

    Greg.
