    Hey everyone,

I got myself a Logitech V270 the other day. I managed to install the SetPoint software, and it seems to be working great. However, every now and then, my 5672 seems to loose the connection with the mouse, and I either need to reset the BT adapter or the mouse to get it working again. Is this a common problem ? Or should I look into replacing some hardware ?

Also, I noticed the mouse seems to lag a bit when playing games or other demenading applications. Have any of you had this problem before ? Btw, I'm using stock Acer drivers.

    Thanks !

I always have had these problems, especially the lag problem you described, with wireless / optical solutions.. when it comes to photoshop work or gaming, I always use my wired one

I bought a Logitech Bluetooth mouse for my 5672. I couldn't take the lag and the lost connections. I returned it and bought a Microsoft wireless mouse, it plugs into a usb port, works great.

I think the problem exists in the Acer Bluetooth module, not in any driver

I have an MX610, and it works awesome. It might also be due to the different versions of Bluetooth - the notebook has BT 2.0 + EDR but mouses usually come with v1.1 or 1.2. I can be wrong - this is just a hunch.

    I doubt that's why.

Since most BT problems occur when playing games or multitasking, is it possible this issue is due to a lack of virtual memory ? How much RAM do you gents have in your Acer ? I've got 1GB stock.

    Cheers.

I doubt that has anything to do with the issue.

I have 2gb of ram and have the same BT issues (same mouse too). Whenever my mouse loses its connection (maybe one time an hour if that) all I do is turn the Bluetooth switch to off, then turn it on again and that seems to do the trick.
