Is there an addon for internal bluetooth interface? I just bought Acer 1692 WLMI and it is without bluetooth, but I guess the place inside is free as there are other models with bluetooth installed.

I am wondering the same thing....I have a TM 4150...Honestly, I dont need bluetooth but I want the blue light to light up....lol

I think i read somewhere (but i could be mistaken) that the slot for the bluetooth module is at the battery bay and some guy tried to buy the bluetooth module from acer but acer wouldn't sell it to him.
I was wondering myself if i were to get a pcmia bluetooth card will the bluetooth button at the front work as it is intended for? -

I have a TravelMate 4402WLMi. I have the internal wireless but not the bluetooth.
In an acer, the bluetooth module is a mini-PCI card that has both the bluetooth and the wireless together on the same card.
Here is a picture of one in a review of the Ferrari 4000, which is very similar to the TravelMate I have:

Hope this helps. Now where to get one is another matter....
Bluetooth addon?
