    Hello

I just bought an ASPIRE 9410Z.
It has bluetooth & wifi diodes.
Wifi functions normally but I can't find any information
about configuring bluetooth in the user manual.

Any form of help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Clement

Here's just something you could try but I'm not guaranteeing anything:

Go to start --> Run --> fsquirt

That will open the Bluetooth Transfer Wizard which may give you an option to configure. Reply if this does not work.

Oh and one other thing you could try is using any bluetooth software that came preinstalled?

I have the SAME computer/problem. As it turns out, the Acer Aspire 9410Z is BLUETOOTH READY (which explains the Bluetooth button next to the WIFI)! It doens't come shipped with Bluetooth. You would have to add the chip/device afterwards.

    blue tooth ready
    and
    blue tooth equipped

    are 2 different things....

ebay sellers have the factory bluetooth modules for sale if you really want BT that bad,,, and aren't worried about opening the laptop up to install one.
