One of my screen hinges has broken in my Acer Travelmate 4150. I don't want to send it off to get it fixed so I want to try and fix it myself. Anybody got any links to

    1) Parts

    2) How to do this (without breaking it!)

    Cheers

    J

is it still under warranty? if it is, it's probably not worth fixing yourself.

currently the only way i can think of is sending it off if its under warraty to get it fixed as you need it on a daily basis you could take out the hdd and swap it with another system for the timebeing until the laptop comes back
as no complaints of this sort will be acknowleged by the service department and youll end up having to pay for it
