I found this aspire overseas. Will it work in the US? Do I have to purchase different power adapter? Will keyboard be different (i.e. dollar sign($) not on keyboard)? Can I get an Acer extended warranty?

    Thanks in advance

Without a doubt the keyboard will be non-standard U.S. Even in England the keyboard is different to a U.S. keyboard, obviously the $ key is not there and I think the @ symbol is somewhere on the left as a Shift + button and not on the 2 button as it is in the U.S. along with other stuff. Personally I wouldn't hassle with buying overseas.

Can't you just get the keyboard replaced?
