Hey Guys,
I have a friend with an acer aspire 5920 and it is showing major symptons that the CMOS battery is dead.
So, does anyone know what kind of battery it takes?? And has anyone done it before??

It is most likely a rechargeable battery , you will have to remove it and look for a part number to get a replacement.

Alright. While I'm asking questions... do you know off hand whether I am gonna have to rip the entire laptop apart??
My compal I have to remove the top, bottom, screen, screen brackets, just to open the damn thing up!! -

look at page 85 for location of the bios battery.
