Hi! I have installed Centrino Hardware Control on my nb and thanks to its CPU temp display capabilities I got scared after reading 60°C even if there were no apps or hidden heavy processes running! Obviously fan gets up at that temp and puts down to 50°C. Anyway after 2-3 mins it's 60°C again. I get this high temp only when my nb is connected to the power line (max perfs selected), wheras with battery temp is 43°C more or less.

Can u help me plz? Should I contact Acer support?

    TIA!

    Mic

60 degrees is hot, but not record setting. Is there a reason why this upsets you?

Well, at home my Thoroughbred 1800+@1910 (original AMD boxed, so no special cooling applied) works around 37°C with no load. I know that on my desktop the fan is always on but a difference of 22°C surprises me...

    Don't u think?

It seems a little warm, but your PC isn't so crowded.
