Ok long story short, I bought a 5100 with a broken screen that would put lines across the screen and then fade to a white color and disappear! Put a new screen on it and it seems to be ok so I decided to pull out the CPU (Turion 64) and put it in my 3100 NOW when I log off the screen will do the same thing but it’s a complete new laptop I only changed the CPU obviously it was the CPU making the problems in the 5100 and then when I put it in the 3100 it is there as well…any ideas?? Help!!

Horizontal lines then it fades to white and disapears it is 100% the CPU as it has done the same on 2 laptops.
