    Hey guys,
I currently own the aver aspire 8930g with the standard 2.2ghz intel CPU. I want to upgrade the CPU but I just don't know what is compatible?

Ive been looking at the T9800 which looks fairly good for it's price and power.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I have browsed about 35 pages of that threadand still have not seen any specific info about upgrading a CPU.

I'm also now considering the intel T9600. Any thoughts?

Download CPU-Z and post up your chipset and current CPU model. I believe you should have a PM45 chipset, so yo would be able to upgrade to any 1066MHz FSB CPU (such as the T9600 and T9800). In general, you can upgrade to any CPU that Acer offers with your model. Though, why do you want to upgrade your CPU and what do you do with your computer? Most users will not benefit from a CPU upgrade.
