My CPU fan auto adjusts it's speed. Since there's no option for this in BIOS, is there a way to change CPU fan speed to spin at it's full speed all the time? Software like Fan Speed and Notebook Hardware Control doesn't work on my Aspire 7720G. Any other programs?

None of those fan speed control programs have ever worked with any acer I have tried in the past. A few years ago one of acer's empowering utilities allowed for fan speed control but that was only on select models; since then acer has done away with allowing any kind of user fan speed control. I think the reason why these programs don't work is because of how acer has the BIOS on it's notebooks designed but this is just my theory. However I wouldn't want my fan running at high all the time because in a quiet room that would drive me nuts  .

By default (if your fan is anything like mine) it should run at low speed constantly and only ramp up to high when the temperature rises too high.

The reason I want to try it out on it's full speed is because I've noticed that every time it speed's up or slow's down it's effecting DPC latencys. I noticed this using DPC latency checker. Since I want to use my laptop as a DAW obviously I don't want any high DPC's...

Yes, there is  Just provide a constant power line to the fan...

I mean a hardware-based solution. The fan itself has no intelligence, it just spins at whatever voltage it is given. The M/B is responsible for controlling speed by varying supply voltage. Once you connect the fan to a constant power source (eg. from a hard disk power supply) it'll just spin.

So, this is the only way to make it spin at it's full speed?
