In response to an earlier email, a person with the ferrari said that he couldnt play COD very well on the laptop. Would that imply then if I got the TM 8104 that I would run into the same problem. (They both have the X700)

Yes - with the exception of the CPU, they're pretty much the same laptop, and will have similar gaming results.

COD is an extremely tough game to handle, so there isn't anything wrong with the notebook - even the X800 series has a bit of trouble at anything higher than XGA.

well, I'm playing CoD2 on my tm4402 with 1280x800, AA 4X, soft shadow, BUT using DirextX 7. With directX9, I'm only able to play it on 1024x768 with everything turns off,and when the laptop starts getting hotter, everything will be lagging. But since directX9 will cause a reboot on a british and the start of american campaign, hence losing all you progress, it is better to play using dirextx 7 until there is a patch from activision.

Yes - DX7 is very easy to handle - no complex lighting, and a total lack of pixel shading. So, the video card does not have a difficult workload.

Good to see that it runs with 4X AA though, nice. ;)

Even on my desktop Radeon 9800XT, I can only run at XGA w/ max. I'll have to give it a go on my laptop sometime.
