This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Calling all 1500 Series users

    Hey all! Apolagies for bringing this up again - I'll keep this short.

    I posted another thread on here entitled "Acer 1501LCe Nightmare...", so feel free to read that for a more detailed account. But in the meantime, if you are a 1500 series owner, it would be much obliged if you could perform the following test.

    Play an audio file. It can be anything. WMA, WAV, MP3, CD Audio, anything. Listen to it from start to finish. Be sure to listen out carefully for dropouts roughly every 2-3 minutes (so it would occur, in my case, at 2:30, 5:00, 7:30, etc.).

    Please post your results here. Even if the file plays start to finish, mention it. I'm hoping if I can find more people with the same problem as me (I already know of 2 or 3 others off AMD.com) then it'll give me some leverage in dealing with the situation with my vendor.

    Also if you could list any major changes you've made (if any) i.e. Bios update, using external soundcard, what version of drivers etc.
