Camera working spontaneous in Skype 4.1 . I have tried drivers from Acer and Logitech web pages but still problems. In Skype I get messages that camera is occupied or Skype cannot find a camera. I use a driver named 9.4.4.1082. Acer Orbicam is installed.
When I start computer I always get a warning message from the virus program that something is trying to make a change to the system and “ Logitech LVPrcSrv Module.
I only intend to use the camera with Skype. What can I do?

    Hi

Had the same problem myself since I bought the laptop in 2007 and I fixed it by taking the screen apart and making sure all the connections were secure Oct 2009, no further problems with the camera, just did not cure the problem I was trying to fix.
Previously I had replaced the driver countless times, to no effect, it seemed the only way to get the camera to work was to force it to reconnect via the video control panel in skype or orbicam.

    good luck
