    Can Ferrari 4005 use mini CD/DVDs?

    Does the slot loader take minis? It has zero impact my purchasing decisions, but I'll probably be getting a Ferrari so I'm just curious..

    I believe I've read somewhere that no, it cannot.. I would imagine pretty much any slot load drive would have trouble with the mini CDs etc.. Same with those rectangular "business card" style ones, if you have ever seen those gimmicky things ;)

    Nope, mini-cd's don't work with the slot loader drive unfortunately. You can always get an external drive.

    Yes unfortunately chazman is correct!,as you can see from my sig i've got an aspire 5021 with the slot loader and an unfortunate design oversight means that when it comes to mini cd's it's a no go! but to be honest with you mini cd's are quite rare and i would rather have a slot drive (cooler looking) than a flimsy tray that could break and also attracts grime and dust!.The one thing you will have to bear in mind however is the difficulty in upgrading the drive in the future not easy if you need to do it!.
