The BIOS of my Acer TM8106 doesn't show settings for USB, Firewire, LAN, etc.. (many other notebooks have settings for this). I got the impression that Acer also stores some settings in BIOS after the settings for Wireless and Bluetooth appeared sticky after a reboot to another OS (actually after a full system crash and rebuild experiment), whihc proves that they are not only stored in the Windows registry.
Note that I had set the settings with a version of Launchmanager which allows to do this. (1.05.0e)

The above made me wonder if there are ways to make these and other settings sticky in BIOS (or CMOS).

    Any ideas, utilities

    Thanks for any hints
