    Can I still use my laptop if I remove the battery?

    My acer model is aspire v5-552g. Can i still use it if I will remove the battery and just use the adaptor?

    Based off the model number you gave, this should be the same laptop
    The battery connector is the multi-colored connector near the center, just to the left if the HDD.
    Unplug it, and tape up the white connector attached to the battery.
    If you choose to leave the battery inside the laptop, instead of removing, you want to make sure the battery connector is not shorting out against anything.

    Yes, you can still use your laptop without battery, I also do that when my battery drained.

    Yes you can use your laptop without a battery just fine, you just get an immediate shut off if someone pulls or trips on power cable.
