I just bought a acer 5002. it has the ml30 turion 30. I know that if I unistall the CPU I can have the cpu run at 1600mhz all the time. But I would like to know is there a way to have the cpu throttling turn off when I have the ac plugged in.

Thanks for any help in this matter

Set your Power Scheme to "Always On". As the performance difference between Portable/Laptop mode and Always On is imperceptible outside of benchmarking programs I advise leaving PowerNOW! enabled.
