Can anyone help me? I have an acer aspire 5630 with a cpu T5500 at 1.66GHz, 667 fsb and I got an other cpu T4400 at 2200 GHz, 800fsb, the question is : can I install t4400 on my platform? Thank you very much anticipated.![]()

Going by this they are different sockets so no.
Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 (BGA) vs Intel Pentium T4400 -
There's a socket M T5500 as well, find out whether your T5500 is a socket M and you can try another faster socket M cpu, not T4400 which is a socket P cpu.

Also if you have intel graphics, you can upgrade the motherboard for very cheap to Nvidia and SATA if you dont have it. Problem is the VGA heatsink, usually more expensive than the motherboard.
