    Just I want to know what battery model is used in USA and European versions of this laptop. Some people suggest that those versions are bundled with different batteries. It seems that UM09E* series can fit into UM09A and UM09B, but not vice versa.

    Acer Germany lists two kinds of batteries for this netbook:
    48 Wh (4400 mAh)
    63 Wh (5600 mAh)
    both 6-cell.

    There are two configurations listed, both with the smaller battery.

    Unfortunately this netbook is not yet listed in Acer's accessory store, so a spare battery cannot be ordered this way.

    Could be. At least the vendor claims it is compatible.

    Unfortunately, they hide themselves behind some anonymising service for their website's whois record. I personally do not trust a shop that needs this kind of hiding.
    Oh, and their website is hosted in Panama :eek:
