    a backlit keyboard? From some of the pictures I've seen it looks like it obviously does, but I don't think it is listed anywhere in the specs. I'm crossing my fingers...

    can't find a thing about the keyboard on any acer site :confused:

    but looks a tasty laptop :cool:

    Hello... in answer to your question...acer timeline does not have a backlit keyboard, as far as i can tell.... i have the timeline 5810... and i will be selling it on ebay tonight...it is a great computer but i have access to more soo its up for sale....i have had mine for a week now...it is an awesome looking and performing machine.
    the chiclet keyboard is very nice to type on and the ulv processor is very efficient.

    as far as i can tell, it does not have a backlit keyboard...i have the timeline 5810t..its a great laptop...its up for auction tonight because i have access to buy another... it is slick at under an inch thick in an alluminum casing, very nice and professional looking.

    no backlit keyboard. saw in the some stores the other day. i must add that its a great looking laptop and very light. Reminds me of the sony SZ or Z.
