    Hi,

I have an Acer 5672 WLMi like a lot of us here. I stumbled upon a few Mini PCI-E cards for Notebooks. I.E. 108mbit Wireless controller.
Everest Home shows me that I have 2 Unused PCI-E slots.
Does anyone know if us Aspire users can actually use them? I haven't opened my Acer up that far to really see. Maybe someone has some experience. Would really be cool if one could use a different graphics card. Some notebooks have that functionality I was told.

I take it no one really knows. I saw the Service Manuals posted. In the manual you can exchange the wireless module... maybe that is upgradable...

But it looks like I will always be stuck with my x1400 on this baby...

There is no PCI-E card on the 5672, there is a mini-pcix card that is used for the wireless however. And yes the GPU is hardwired into the motherboard, like with 99.9% of all laptops the GPU is not swappable or upgradeable.
