    Can't Find CD/DVD Drive

    I have an Aspire 7000 and for some reason the CD/DVD Drive can't be located! It doesn't appear anywhere in the explorer and nothing loads if I physically place a disc in the drive.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Assuming that you have a dead drive , you next option are to find a replacement , and some one to install it .
