This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi, i recently bought a Transcend SD card 2Gb 45X which my acer laptop can't read, even if it gets properly recognized by the rest of my gear (camera etc.) That sort of defeats the purpose :mad:

    Could someone point me to a firmware update i could use to make it aspire-compatible ?

    (..or at least if someone had a clue as to which card reader is on board, because i looked in the system and the hardware manager and couldn't manage to find its name..)
