I was having some 300 errors in Event Viewer concerning standby performance which I gathered were sleep and hibernation issues. Anyway I gathered that I should take a look at my chipset drivers or driver so I could see which one is installed. I could not find the chipset driver that is installed on my Laptop according to the Acer drivers site. All it says there is chipset driver. I downloaded it and I tried to find it in Device Manager but I can't find it anywhere. When searching in google I find they could be talking about 3 different chipsets. Is this true? Like Display, audio, video?? Now I am really confused. How do I install this driver if I can't find it in Device Manager? It comes zipped up so I thought extract, run setup, but I'd rather know where this is going but the acer driver site does not indicate which chipset it is and like I said I can't find it in Device Manger. Please someone Help.
