Hello people i just find that at "display properties" there is no color profiles ..

Usually when we installs a screen , the icm or icc profiles comes with the driver .

My laptop has an Samsung 15.4 screen ... LTN154X3-L01

Is there any way to get an "color profile" for it ?

For the noobs ... i will say that "color profile" is useful for 2D graphics ,
screens - scanners - digital cameras - software " Photoshop" , uses this profiles as an way to preserve and display correctly the color tones on your screen .
Thats my simplified explanation . :)

Hmm as far as I know the color profile are available from Microsoft(generic?) and from the drivers of imaging devices such scanners - my scanner driver install profiles. I guess if you find a driver for your screen it will install a profile aswell..

Edit: I think you can get some profiles from adobe.com, I'm not sure though.

The point is that at my laptop , the screen shows as simple " Plug and play "

I found the original Samsung document about it , lots of hardware info about the screen , but nothing about software .

Hi, if the manufacturer of the LCD screen doesn't supply a driver I guess it is difficult for a color profile to be set. However have you looked at powerstrip http://entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm you can setup different colour profiles within that to correctly calibrate your monitor..
