Hi, ive bought a new Acer 2920 (but the question is valid to many Acer laptops). So, I updated the Bios to the last one. And then installed without issues Vista Service Pack 1. Everything seems to work perfectly (both Drivers and Empowering). But when i go to Acer website i can see there's some drivers updated for Vista SP1. My drivers seem to be a little older than vista or vista sp1 listed on acer's website. So, is it recommended to update to the new versions? Maybe they are more optimized for SP1? Also, would it be necessary to update the "intel chipset driver" listed on acer's web page? (this one is recommended before installing any vista drivers, so would be problematic...)
Thanks!

It's always recommended to update to the newest drivers available(unless there are known issues with the newest drivers in question of course). You're not obligated though

ok, im going to install the drivers...but still...i'm not sure about the "intel chipset driver". It's not the typical driver to update. It's more like a system driver to install just after installing Vista for the first time...
I wonder if someone has already installed the new SP1 drivers and the new SP1 empowering. Any problems? Any improvement?
Confused about Acer Vista SP1 drivers.
