    Hello

I have an Acer TM 2312. My question is regarding the contrast control. I can adjust the volume adn the brightness using the arrow keys along with the Fn key, but I can't find a way to adjust the contrast.

The up and the down keys adjust the volume and the left and right the brightness. The book that I got also does not mention any contrast control keys.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers!

    Contrast for the screen?

    Like Gamma and such?

Control Panel -> Display -> settings -> advanced -> colour

go to the settings tab in display properties (right click on desktop). Then in that display settings, go to the advanced section of display. There you will get setting controls specific to your video card

Thank you for replying. I don't actually need the color management. Let me explain, bear with me:

You remember the days of the good old heavy/bulky montiors that came with the Desktops, they had two settings - Brightness and Contrast. I have brightness but not contrast control on my TM 2312. I don't think contrast control is just adjusting the saturation/hue/gramma and what have you.

My friend has a HP machine and he can control both Brightness and Contrast using the keyboard itself (F9/F10 control contrast and the right/left keys control brightness). So, I was wondering if Acer too allows contrast control in its laptops. After all, all models are manufactured in China :)

Anyway, thanks for the help, but I am not looking for the color management. And BTW, my OS is linux :)
