    Hi!

I have some problem with my acer 5920 (on Vista 32 bit). I'd like to disable procesor power management function. Particurally speedstep function. I need to set procesor frequence at maximum level, becouse of some problems with my audio program (asio4all and FL Studio). Unfortunately I can't do that. Here is what I've already done:

    - first I just set power options to maximum perfomance and change advanced plan setting (procesor power managments - all procesor states to 100%) - It didn't help

-Second I uninstalled acer power manager software and restart computer - didn't help

    - Finally I installed notebook hardware controle and I set it to maximum perfomance - didn't help

My processor still backs to lower frequency (1 Ghz).

    I have Core 2 Duo T5250 (1,5 Ghz)

    Thanks in advance

Processor clock down to save power & reduce heat.

#Normally Processor power management handle by BIOS not from software

#NHC not working 100% correct with all notebooks

Ok. But previously I had Acer 3023 and there was no problems with this. When I set power settings to maximum perfomance procesor didn't clock down. You think it is becouse of different bios? In fact now I see no differences between medium power settings and high perfomance. In both my procesor and graphic card clocks down. Is there any solution of this problem? (if not nhc maby somethink different?)

i sort of had the same problem except that i wanted my CPU to use its saving power features. I fixed that by going to the power options i dont know why that didnt work for you because when i had this problem my CPU states were all set to 100%
