I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using the 1 year limited warranty that Acer offers? I bought a Ferarri 3200 a few months ago and have always been super careful with it. I use it as a desktop replacement and have only taken out of the house on two occasions. I noticed that a crack has developed on the casing around the screen, next to the hinge on the left hand side. It is about 3 cm long and runs from the bottom edge of the screen casing down. There doesn't seem to be any other trauma and I'm wondering if this could be due to a faulty casing or something.

Has anyone else had this type of problem before? Do you think that the warranty would cover something like this? I seriously have my doubts, but I wanted to see if anyone else had experience with this type of thing.

Thanks for the link. Luckily, the crack does not actually extend into the screen, it's just in the casing that surrounds the screen.
