    Crysis 2 Pwns my Laptop

    Im able to play the crysis 2 demo on my 4820tg (amd 6550m) at native res (1366x768) and Advanced settings (medium).

    Its overclocked though and my temps are getting hot enough for me to really worry.
    CPU max=89c
    GPU max=84c

    Those are perfectly safe temps for a 4820TG CPU and GPU. My CPU runs in teh 84 range and GPU in the 86 or 87 range on heavy gaming all the time. If you're under 90C you've got nothing to worry about.

    I would agree generally, but if you want even better temperature you can replace the thermal paste.

    I bought some shin etsu paste.
    Havent gotten around to opening 'er up yet though :).

    i hope that gives me more oc headroom

    740/988 seem to be rock solid stable atm.
    I haven't done too much tweaking yet.
    Not sure why my MEM clocks are so sensitive (artifact intensely near 1000mHz)..
