I have an Aspire 3610 with windows XP.
When I am typing an email, My curser will sometimes jump to another place on the message in the middle of a word. Is this a keyboard problem?

The same sometimes happens when I am using my mouse.

I have a 5720. It is the touch pad problem. I have this alot. So, I marked the box that says disable the touch pad while typing. I also disabled double tapping. The cursor doesn't jump around that much now.

If you google "cursor jumps while typing" you will get some idea of the scale of the problem.

I would suggest if you try anything out and it doesn't work, re enable that function before moving on to try something else.

And let us know if you find something that works for you :)
