    It is quite normal. The actual speed of DDR2 memories is half of what they advertise since they are capable of transferring data both on the raising and falling edges of the clock cycle. So a DDR2 533 runs at 266MHZ, DDR 400 runs at 200MHz and DDR2 667 runs at 333MHz.
