Just did a clean install of Windows 7 and everything seems to work fine except for my dvd-rom. Its weird because if I restart the computer, it recognizes the media, but then if I take it out and insert something else, the drive itself disappears or it just says that I do not have access to format the drive. ! Anyone have this issue or have a fix for it.

Had a similar problem when I upgraded my 5810t to Windows 7. Try uninstalling the driver, then reboot and let Windows find and reload the driver.

    Hope this helps

Hi, what is the exact model of yours? I have one that has a 'HL DT ST GU10n' DVD drive with same problem. I am still working on a way to get this working. If I find one I will post it here.
