Hi i have an Acer Ferrari 4000 with DVI socket, is it possible to use a DVI lead from the Acer to an external large LCD monitor and view what i am doing on the Acer on the large monitor.

    Thanks.

Yes, when you go to your video card settings, you need to clone your desktop instead of extending it. That will display what is on your laptop onto your external.

I have looked in Display settings and can find no references to cloning desktop?

You need to go into your ATI control panel and go to the Display Manager panel. Your second monitor should show up in the second scare. You can right click on it and select the option.

I'd give you more detail but I not near a screen to verify all the steps.
