    DVI output on ezDock does not work

    When I use DVI output on my Acer TravelMate 8204WLMi with DVI-D Single Link cable and "ViewSonic VX2000" monitor, everything works just perfect. Nice picture and distinct PnP sound, when I plug the monitor.

    But! When I use DVI output on my ezDock (LC.D0103.003) with DVI-D Single Link cable and "ViewSonic VX2000" monitor, nothing works. Blinking snowy picture and no PnP sound, when I plug the monitor.

    Last versions of all driver and BIOS are installed.

    Please, help me with some advice! :confused:

    Please, does someone hear the distinct PnP sound, when he plugs his monitor by DVI cable?

    if is a hardware problem, phone acer. the phone support if very good, they might even be able to fix it over the phone...

    What do you mean with hardware, ezDock or notebook? Acer support did change the ezDock for one month ago.

    Thanks for the answer.

    Do you use ezDock or ezDock Lite? ezDock Lite has 24 pin digital DVI port as the notebook, but ezDock has DVI-Analog/Digital - 29 pin combined DVI port.

    I received my computer back from service. They did not find any problems, but the problem still remaining. What I should do now???
