Hi!
So I have this Aspire 6920G with a beautiful 1080p screen.
My only concern is that when I switch between different displays, the size of the desktop objects and icons changes (see caputres below). And that occurs even when I connect my laptop to a 1080p LCD screen, with which the resolution does not change (I checked in the nVidia control panel).
After I disconnect/switch back to the original screen, the icons size is still not right and I need to reboot my computer to get them to their original aspect.
Any solution for this not to change everytime I connect an external monitor?
I don't know if it comes from Acer or Windows 7...
Thanks for your help!![]()

Am I really the only one having this issue?
Somebody had to know something -
Well the screen captures are not really clear so not sure what the issue is
Have you confirmed both screens have the same icon size, desktop resolution and zoom setting etc ? -
Just spotted this thread... I think I know what you mean, and I have similar issue with Vista on an Aspire 9301.
Mine seem to be either one of two different sizes, and if I right click the desktop and select "refresh" they jump back to the large size.
It happens at random, just exiting an appication back to the desktop and they might just "resize" in front of you.
It's not a problem but it puzzles me why... I asked on various forums about it and never got an answer
Picture is a composite of both sizes.Attached Files:
