Hello all... I was looking at these two laptops today.

I have found the 4010 at Sam's Club.

    http://www.samsclub.com/eclub/main_...cccaddgeekhellcfkfcfkjdgoodfkh.0&pid=_Froogle

Extended warranty as you can see is $79.03 for 3 years. I called Sam's and inquired about the warranty and the gentleman told me that the extended warranty begins when the man. warranty expires. He said that I would be covered for 4 years total then.

Here is the 4011 found at Circuit City. Apparently this is an exclusive model to them.

Protection plan at CC is $139.99 for 2 years. I believe that this starts imediately so I will get 2 years of service.

The only difference that I saw between the 4010 @ Sam's was that it has XP Pro and bluetooth. I don't really care about the pro because I already have the full office package. Bluetooth may come in handy in the future.

The description at CC for the 4011 is kind of vague. I have done searches on this but I haven't come up with much more info.

Is the extended warranty needed? I think i would like it, because it would give some piece of mind.

Pricing goes like this for me.

    SAMS - TMM4010 - w/ 3 year extended warranty (4yr. total)

    $799+79.81=878.81+tax= $949.12

    CC - TM4011 w/ 2 year warranty

    $899+139.99=1038.99+tax=$1122.11 -15 coupon and rebate of $200= $907.11

I have another coupon for 18 months no interest. That would help me out alot.

Sam's is 6 months no payment no interest.

If the warranty is not important than I will go with CC's TM4011.

If the warranty is a huge factor than I will go w/ Sam's TM4010.

What are everyone's thoughts on this??

Sam's Club link broken. They are probably not that different.
