    Hi All

In my search for my first laptop I've narrowed it down to either a TM4502WLMi or a TM3201XMi and have been reading all the related threads on here, REALLY useful!

One thing which people didn't seem to mention/compare was the keyboard, as far as I can see the 4500 series have a curved keyboard and the 3200 don't. A comfortable, easy to use keyboard when typing lots/fast is one of my main requirements, so am wondering whether anyone has tried both and can comment?

Apart from that the differences I can see are bigger size/screen & weight on 4502, better battery life on 4502, bigger hard drive on 3201 (80 compared to 60MB) and 3 USB ports on 4502 compared to only 2 on 3201. Has anyone found that only having 2 is restrictive? I don't know all the kind of things you might use them for, will definitely be using them for optical mouse & printer at least.

Thanks in advance for any help!

4502 has the integrated video card, the 3201 has the ATI 64Mb 9700. The 4501 is the one with the ATI card. Also 3201 has only combo drive. The 4501 or 2 has the DVD burner. I have 2 usbs on my Thinkpad. I only use it to hook up the optical drive. I print over the network. I like using the touchpad/stick. Guess it depends on how many devices you have. You could get a usb hub. They make small travel sized ones as well. Good Luck.
