New Poster here and I couldn't find any info on WAP wireless security and my Acer 3680.

 I've been going crazy trying to get the laptop, running VISTA Home Basic (bottom-of-the-barrell-included-free-OS), to connect to my wireless network which is WPA secured.

Called Acer Canada tech support, and the fella told me to disable eNet as it has problems/does not work with WPA security.

If you're having this problem, simply set up your connection using VISTA.

I'll check it out when I get home from work.

    With fingers crossed, ;)

what I've found is that enet will not find my network since it is not being broadcast and even though I tell it the necessary info, it will not connect.

I use Vista's built-in connectivity tool. I don't know if enet fails because of WPA or not. Using Vista Home Premium
