Hi, I've recently bought a creative soundcard only to find that every 6 seconds it jumps/stutters. I've tried everything creative tech support has suggested except disabling onboard sound @ bios. I've looked through all the pages @ bios and can't see anything for disabling the onboard sound. Does anyone know how I can do this please? The laptop is quite new so I'd rather avoid jumpers cause I'd like to keep the warrenty.
Thnx in advance

im planning to buy SB audigy pcmcia for notebook. i have acer 4050 series, and theres no enable/disable audio. maybe it will turnoff automatically when you put new hardware. i dont know either.
