I recently bought an Acer Aspire 8735ZG laptop and I've encountered an issue with it that I really have to get solved. I need to be able to power off/disable all devices that transmits radio waves.
The only such devices that I know off are the WLAN antenna and the bluetooth antenna. I've tried to turn these off by disabling them through Device Manager, as well as turning them off with the bluetooth- and wifi hot key buttons next to the keyboard. Both these methods SEEM to work properly except for that my laptop still radiates in some way.
Are there perhaps any other devices in a laptop that may have radios?
Are the antennas maybe not powered off when the devices are?
This was easily done with my old dell inspiron laptop. It didn't have bluetooth and the wifi switch completely disabled the antenna.
thanks in advance for any answers//filip

First, what are you using to measure radiation and what is it that you are doing which hates radio waves?
In which frequencies are you getting a reading? It would really help to know this, so we could eliminate sources one by one.
I hope that you do know that processor, graphics card, LCD screen, sound card and network card among other things emmit radio waves.
Disabling all wireless?
