I installed Windows 7 on my Aspire 1410, but sometimes I get an error (as a windows balloon) that the Display Driver stopped working but successfully restarted.

However, my battery words for 3.5 hours instead of 5+ hours; and I think this is the reason.

Where I can download the original driver for better performance (at least in favor of battery).

I used to get that error message occasionally. Seemed to happen leaving games. Didn't realise what it meant at the time, eventually my graphics card (Nvidia 8600GT) died on my 9920G.

I'm not sure which GPU you have but it may be worth while monitoring it's temperature. :frown:

    Hi,
You can get the drivers from Acer support website. If you don't find Win7 drivers for the 1410, then look into the section for the 1810T or 1810TZ. It's the same hardware.

You can also grab drivers directly from Intel website: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...Mobile+Intel®+4+Series+Express+Chipset+Family
I am using version 15.17.3.64.2104 on my 1810TZ.

Not sure about the drivers from Acer, but this Intel driver allows to select different performance settings for battery operation and "plugged in".

Thanks Michael, I updated the driver by the Intel driver :)
