Anyone that has an Acer 5672 or 5674 with the x1600 graphics card, can you please tell me what fps you get and on what settings? My fps is messed up and if I lower or raise the settings my fps goes down.

Sure. They've been pretty stable for me (or maybe not, I don't know really know what causes the system slowdown when CS:S runs).

I have had no issues on my 5672 with playing CS:S or any HL1 or HL2 game built on the Half Life engine. I highly suggest you check to see if your page file is over your total allotted memory or if you have a driver issue as listed previously.

If you want I'll send you a few fraps screenshots of playing BF2 / HL2 / WoW / BF1942 or any other game on XP or Vista.

I may not have a problem at all, I'm not sure. I just expected it to have higher fps on DoD:S. I also play CS:S and get good fps on that game.
